Emergency Announcements
Emergency Operations Center is open when a State of Emergency is issued. You may reach the center at 413-337-4461.

January 4, 2018 10:10 a.m.

According to MEMA, snow and high wind predictions for Heath have been increased and therefore Heath Emergency Operations personnel are monitoring the weather.
Our concern is the potential for high winds leading to power loss coupled with bitter cold temperatures predicted for Friday and Saturday.
In general residents are encouraged to “shelter in place,” however in the event of a prolonged power outage, the Heath Emergency Operations Center will be activated, this is located at the Heath Fire Station. There will also be a warming shelter at the Community Hall to provide a place where residents can get warm and refill water containers if necessary.
Please reach out to make sure your neighbors are okay and do not hesitate to contact emergency operations personnel at 337-4461 if you require assistance, and 9-1-1 for emergencies. If the Heath Emergency Operations Center or a shelter is activated every effort will be made to inform you; however this message is being sent now in the event power loss prevents town-wide communications at that time.
Be safe.
