Heath Recycles! Recycling is required and mandatory in the Commonwealth of MA. Please comply with Heath’s Waste Ban Plan and recycle glass, metal, plastic, paper (including cardboard), leaf and yard waste, asphalt pavement, brick, concrete, metal and wood. All are prohibited and must be recycled. Recycling protects the environment and saves money by cutting solid waste management costs. Throw away less and Recycle more. Thank you!

Transfer Station permit stickers are available at the Heath Post Office for $75 : All Users will need a new permit as of July 1. Hours of the Post Office are 9:30 am – 1:30 pm Monday through Saturday.
NEW 2017: Permit and PAYT (Pay as you Throw) trash bags will require stickers. Informational Meeting 5/16/17, at 7 pm Community Hall.
Summer (2016) New Hours effective Memorial Day, annually
Mon 9 am – 1 pm
Wed 12 noon – 4 pm
Sat 8 am - 4 pm
Winter (2016-17) New Hours effective November 1st, annually

The only difference is that the transfer station will not be open Mondays during winter hours *
**Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day if those holidays fall on either Wednesday or Saturday. Please plan accordingly.
